I was born in Spain and raised in Gibraltar, and have lived in Bristol since September 2021.

I'm a Bristol-based journalist with 2.5 years of experience writing predominantly lifestyle and community-led stories for an online publication.

The work I have created during this time has ranged from interviewing local politicians, like Mayor of WECA Helen Godwin, to Wallace & Gromit's creator Nick Park, to vox popping local buisnesses about the effects of the cost of living crisis, to covering new openings and live events like the Wai Yee Hong's Lunar New Year, to name a few.
 

My free time is generally filled with arts and crafts in various forms.
 

The first is through a small business I created called Crafty Ro-Ro. The idea came about after I began creating small polymer clay pieces of jewellery, accessories and small figures.

After a couple of months, I created an Instagram page (@Crafty_Ro_Ro) and started to sign up to have stalls at markets across the Bristol area. This later expanded to also creating resin accessories, scented (teacup) candles, scrunchies, stickers and small artprint/canvases, including handpainted pokemon cards. I continue to arrange stalls, hand make stock and social my work regularly alongside my main job.
 

I also like to paint both traditionally (predominantly with watercolour and acrylic paint, and most recently, with acrylic pens), as well as digitally and have done so using Photoshop, Sai Paint Tool and most recently, Procreate. I have also created some digital assets (chibi characters) which have been used in a prominent YouTube channel. 
 

Another aspect I indulge in is cosplay. Throughout the years, I have been building upon my skillset to create costumes/cosplays to use at conventions and events for both myself and friends/family.

These are often created within a tight timeline and some have been used to partake in cosplay competitions. In one of my most recent creations, I created my own wig with wool and an old Poundland wig, and created a shirt, corset, skirt with pockets, ears and tails from scratch.
